At the centennial of Carroll’s birth, Alice Liddell, the inspiration for Alice,went to NY and met Peter Llewelyn-Davies, one of the brothers who inspired J. M. Barrie’s Peter Pan.
I actually heard about this a while ago and I just cried and cried because I knew that Alice and Peter Pan had met and that thought alone just made me weep.
